How to run an EDE

Run a EDE Programme

Several of our EDE graduates have carried on organising EDE programmes in their local areas, and you are warmly encouraged to do so after completing your course.

The recommended time frame of an EDE is four weeks, however this is not fixed and varies with each individual programme.

The material can be condensed into smaller workshops, spread out over a longer period, or distributed in blocks at different times and locations.

Gaia Education’s Ecovillage Design Curriculum

The Curriculum was developed drawing on the experience and expertise developed throughout a network of some of the most successful ecovillages and transition settings around the world.

Raise awareness of the SDGs among local and national actors

Discover the new SDG Multipliers Handbook

The purpose of this SDG Multiplier’s Handbook is to support the participants of the Training of Multipliers in the process of stepping forward to act as multipliers and to offer a training themselves.

The highly interactive process invites participants to engage in constructive conversations about the local relevance of the 17 SDG based on a set of flashcards designed to help structure small group dialogues.
