Gaia Education Design for Sustainability virtual programme offers the convenience and flexibility of online learning for today's busy lifestyle. The programme is offered in Spanish and English and consists of 4 dimensions, 2 months long each. The programme takes place at UOC virtual campus, with common spaces where students 'meet' with a tutor and learn by reading materials, debating and engaging in case studies.

Taking place in the heart of the Amazon at Vila Céu do Mapiá, Purus National Forest, this EDE is featuring a cohesive and diverse group of approximately 90 people from 14 to 79 years, ranging from those who do not read or write to PhD holders. Seeds planted in this EDE strive towards the exchange of wisdom and experiences between traditional villages and ecovillages.

This courses, based on Gaia Educatoin's EDE curriculum and including all 4 Dimensions, is aimed at engaged workshop participants and changemakers from around the world interested in networking, exchange and learning from each other. It will include the latest research into practical farming techniques, play and cultural exchange. Time will be spent at ecovillages & sustainability centres around Norway and includes a 72 hour Permaculture Design Certification.

Provides tools to develop skills and knowledge for planning and implementation of collective projects and/or cooperatives, as well as sustainable human settlements. Urban Format: one module per month and a practical field trip and integration in November. Each of the four modules. will be held Saturday and Sunday for 2 full days plus 2 or 3 during the week in the evenings. Complemented with other optional activities such as meditation, bodywork, healing, film discussions, conferences, celebrations, etc.

In it's 38 years of existence Damanhur has explored the 4 dimensions of sustainability, offering a perfect setting for this holistic course and providing both theoretical and hands-on experiences. This EDE has been held in the Ecovillage of Sieben Linden since 2007. In our intentional community of 130 residents, all of the four dimensions are tangible and are constantly refined. The EDE of 2013 includes a full 72 hours permaculture design course. It also focuses on starting collaborative projects for change. The learners' community will come from Europe, Africa and Latin America. |

This training is based at the Findhorn Ecovillage providing a practical forum for learning and developing skills needed to work effectively with design for sustainability at all levels.
