A 7-day (certified) mini-EDE

Located in the North-East of Thailand, Gaia Ashram is a 13-year-old community inspired by permaculture design, deep ecology, holistic regeneration and ecovillage design philosophy including the 4 dimensions of Gaia Education’s Ecovillage Design Education (EDE) curriculum that have been used to curate this Ecovillage Lifestyle Experience Week program. You are invited to learn and experience these ecovillage design principles and observe and participate in its application across different pockets of Gaia Ashram.

The content covered during this course includes introductions to the 4 dimensions of Social, Ecology, Economy and Worldview, together with a lot of
insights and lessons learnt from our own experience of applying these principles in real life scenarios in the community.

The program is designed to integrate the participants into Gaia Ashram’s routine and structures, enabling them to experience a lifestyle where the day starts with mindfulness practices and continues with interactive theoretical lessons, roleplaying and fun activities, personal reflection sessions, hands- on practical learnings, open space skill sharing, and many deep conversations.
